Atlantic Super Regional Recap

The team traveled to Richmond, VA to compete at the Atlantic Super Regionals (ASR) April 29-30, 2023, bringing together the top teams in the region.  

Game 1 - ASR Semi-Finals vs Raleigh

Summary: Boston was the first on the score board with a quick tap from Stacey who dished it to Tash who dotted it down in the corner. Let’s go wheels! Raleigh rallied back with strategic kicking, and strong crash runners. Lovely support offloads from Tory to Tiff to Marge to close out the first half. Half Time score: Boston 12-14 Raleigh.

Going into the second half, Boston continued to chip into the Raleigh defense however we were kept contained. In the 70 minute into the game, Gravy bobbed and weaved and dotted it down for a try. Full time score: Boston 19-49 Raleigh.  

 

Game 2 - Women’s Division 1 Consolation vs Providence

Summary: A back and forth match against a familiar opponent. At halftime Boston lead 17-12. Second half Providence scored 1 try to tie it up, and off of a penalty Stacey kicked the ball into touch to bring us into overtime! Full score 17-17. Overtime was 2 5:00 minute halves. Determined to end ASR on a high note, the team contained Providence while the team put 2 tries on the board. Final Overtime score Boston won 27-17.

7s Nationals Bowl Champions! - Summer 7’s 2022 by Allie Brouckman

Boston Women’s is heading to Nationals yet again!!! LETS GOOO!!! Boston collabs with Beantown to send an elite roster to compete against the top 16 teams in the country, August 13-14 at Emerson Central Fields in St. Louis, MO!!! Game start at 9am and will conclude by 5pm, streamable on The Rugby Network.
